Trust | Who
Made This Possible
Hello there! I'm
Danielle Burney, I am 18 years old and am currently studying towards
my A Levels in German, History and Psychology at Sir John Deane's
College in Northwich, Cheshire, England. I live at home with my Mum,
Dad and twin brother James.
I am an independent
and outgoing individual and I am a firm believer in life being far too
short to play a passive role. One of my main ambitions in life is to
make a really significant difference to peoples lives. Fortunately,
Project Trust has given me a unique opportunity to achieve this goal.
My
project in
Uganda
In 2009, I'll be spending 12 months in Uganda as a Project Trust
volunteer teacher for disabled children. Project Trust ia a non-profit,
educational charity that sends volunteers to work in 24 countries
across the world, without taking work from local people. It's an
amazing opportunity to help make a difference in the lives of these
kids - but I need your help to make this happen!
Although Project Trust helps out with the logistics, I need to raise
£4,660 by June 2009. My first fundraising event was a 'bag
pack'
at a local supermarket. This was quite successful. Upcoming, is a
Moulin Rouge party and I'll be holding more fundraisers over the next
few months. These events will include a sponsored parachute jump,
raffles, and other events to take place in my college
community.
Any help you can offer in the form of donations, sponsorship, or advice
would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you everybody for
considering and donating to Danielle's most worthy cause.
Warm
regards and best wishes
for your
future,
Danielle,
James, June and
Jim Burney
